Today was our first
day of MAP testing. Overall, it went really well!! The students did a wonderful
job and all of their scores went up from the winter! YAY! On Monday we will
take the Math MAP test.
Today we began an
end of the year writing gift to each other. Each student is writing to their classmates
about why they are a good friends, things that they are good at, and their
favorite memories with each other. What I have seen so far are incredibly sweet
and will be fun to look back at down the road.
We are changing the
location of our end of the year showcase. I have gotten a wonderful response
from families and our classroom won’t be big enough to hold everyone! We will
have our showcase in the library/media center. I will send home a note as the date gets closer. If you haven’t returned your “RSVP” please remember to do so by
May 28th.
