HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope all of you had a wonderful break! I wish you all the best of health in the new year.

Today, we reviewed our class rules and practiced reading to self. Our stamina decreased a little over break so we are practicing building it back up.  In math, we reviewed 2-digit addition and building numbers with base-10 blocks. In writing, students made 4 new years resolutions. They made a resolution for at home, at school, in the community, and with our friends. Tomorrow, we will finish our resolutions and hang them up in the hallway. We will also begin Unit 5 in Math—geometry. Today we also went to the library to check out new books. The students have been doing such a great job finding books and waiting quietly to check out books. They all set such a good example for all of the students at Moreland and I can't believe that we're almost halfway through the school year! Thank you for all you do at home and for all of your support.
